Hey Guys!
It's Nitya! And this year, I decided to participate in the reading rush(Previously known as the Booktube-a-thon)!
For those who don't know, the reading rush is a bookternet wide read-a-thon that takes place annually during the summer. It lasts a week long and readers have a chance to read, meet fellow book-nerds from around the world, and participate in the various challenges that take place during this week.

So I plan to be reading seven books this week(hopefully)!!!!!!
Reading rush TBR
A Book With Purple on the cover: For this challenge, I decided I would be reading Because you love to Hate Me, an anthology of retellings of various villains; written by thirteen different authors in collaboration with thirteen booktubers. I choose this book not only because it sounds amazing and super fun, but I can also make it work for multiple other challenges.
Read a book in the same spot challenge: For this, I choose The Magician's Nephew from the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. it's short and sweet, and I missed out on it during my child hood, so why not?
A book that you meant to read last year: I can basically use Because You Love To Hate Me for this one.... so why not? Although if I have time, I'm going to try reading A Darker Shade Of Magic by V. E. Schwab.
A Debut novel: For this one, I plan to read The Forest of Arrows by V.F. Sharp. I don't know much about this book other than the fact that it was supposed to be like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings!
A Book With a Non-Human Main Character: For this I will be reading Lord of the rings: The Fellowship of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. I've been really into the movies, so I decided I'd check out the book!
A Book With A Five Word Title: I can use either Because You Love To Hate Me, Lord of the rings: The Fellowship of the Rings. Or A Darker Shade of Magic!
A Book with a Movie Adaptation: For this I plan to re-read Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire by J.K. Rowling. If I don't get to that though, both Lord of the rings and Narnia will work!
And because I need seven books, I plan to also re-read Flush by Carl Hiaasen, and maybe another short book.
So Yea! That is my TBR from the reading rush! I plan to do the Video challenges on my bookstagram (@the_bookish_kingdom) so be sure to look out for updates and challenges!
